Our interns
Shery Academy empowers students across the Middle East through hands-on, practical training that builds real-world confidence and competency. Our programs provide comprehensive instruction in essential assessment tools such as the VB-MAPP and ABLLS-R, enabling trainees to effectively administer, interpret, and apply these assessments in educational and therapeutic settings. Interns who complete our programs graduate with the skills they need to succeed in centers and classrooms
Our community
Shery Academy, our community is built on strong relationships with families from the surrounding neighborhoods, creating a supportive and collaborative environment. Our rehabilitation center is conveniently located for busy parents, making drop-off, pick-up, and family visits simple and stress-free. We use engaging, research-based, multi-sensory approaches ABA to support children’s developmental, communication, behavioral, and early learning skills. Our programs integrate evidence-based tools and strategies tailored to each child’s needs, ensuring meaningful progress in a nurturing, inclusive setting where families and professionals work together toward shared goals.
Shereen Sabek
Shereen Sabek is a psychologist with over 20 years of experience in child care, psychological support, and behavioral rehabilitation. She began her career in 1999 with SOS Children’s Villages and later founded Shery Academy in 2017 — one of the leading centers for children with developmental challenges in Qalyubia.
Shahd Kelany
Shahd Kelany is an RBT-certified ABA specialist who co-founded Shery Academy with her mother in 2021. She established the first ABA Unit in Qalyubia and continues to train professionals in behavioral therapy.
